It’s pumpkin spice latte season! All our staff at Southern Green have been very busy, and autumn has come around before we know it. This season’s newsletter contains a number of award winning schemes, and for the second year in a row, we have been shortlisted in the Landscape Institute Awards 2023, Biodiversity, Conservation and Enhancement category for our project Harringworth Park Wildlands. October marked the month of Mental Health Awareness, where Southern Green had the privilege and opportunity to transform three Everyturn Care Homes at Gateshead, which have been hugely beneficial for residents, staff and visitors. Other adventures include the opening of Belsay’s Play Area, and a trip to Amsterdam EBBEN Trees nursery.
