Celebrations this month at Southern Green, with Liam promoted to Director, Ariana passing her LI Chartership exam, and Ros Southern appointed as a Design Council Expert.
Liam Haggarty, a talented designer who has led many of the firm’s most high-profile projects such as Bigg Market, Seaton Delaval and Newcastle University Student Forum, has played a key role in the development of the business since joining the team in 2009, and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to assist in driving the company forward in these exciting times. Ros Southern commented ‘Southern Green’s fantastic range of projects across the UK evidences the huge potential there is to develop the business further and Liam will play a key role in this. We are really delighted to welcome him to the board.’
Huge congratulations also to Ariana Stoyanova after passing the challenging LI Chartership exams to become a Chartered Landscape Architect! Ariana has started at Southern Green in 2018 as a graduate and has since developed her experience in a variety of different projects ranging from historic parks to regeneration. Despite the challenges of Covid-19 forcing exams online, Ariana has worked hard to gain a pass at her first attempt.
Last but not least, Director Ros Southern has now become a Design Council Expert for the Design Council England's national panel. As part of a diverse, multi-disciplinary network of experts, the panel includes some of the best experts in the industry who embody their commitment to create and inform positive change, and make life better by design. Ros was previously a Design Council BEE and is also a member of DesignNE review panel.
