Works are due to commence on our new exciting scheme at Seaton Delaval Hall at the end of November. 'The Curtain Rises' project is a flagship project for the National Trust, delivering essential conservation works alongside the provision of new facilities and a number of exciting new visitor attractions.
Southern Green is responsible for the design and delivery of the landscape works, working closely with the client, consultant team and main contractor. We will also be working very closely with Studio Hardie on the new bespoke timber play area.
The Hall was originally designed by Sir John Vanbrugh in 1718 as an extravagant home for the theatrical and flamboyant Delaval family.
Works are due to complete in July 2020, by which time Seaton Delaval Hall will become a major National Trust visitor attraction and a fantastic family day out.
