We have been on site this week getting our hands dirty setting out Ilex x merserveae instant hedging and the new timber seats. The new seating, planting and the granite paving band running through this scheme have all been positioned to depict the approximate alignment of the Roman Frontier of Hadrian's Wall that runs approximately in line with Westgate Road straight through the city centre.

The public realm is due to open fully at the end of November.  Phase two planting is to follow with grasses and perennials to provide seasonal interest. The full site will be complete in Spring 2019.  We can't wait to watch it flourish!
