Ahead of the Great Big Green week in June, our team recently put their money where their mouths were and got hands on and green fingered in our own garden at our Office in Low Fell.
The Great Big Green Week takes place from 8th to 16th June, and this year’s theme is “lets swap together for good”. Every year during the Great Big Green Week people come together to show support for action to protect our planet. Collectively we really can make a huge difference and in 2023, the Great Big Green week saw more than a quarter of a million people getting involved.
In the spirit of swaps, some of our team swapped plants resident in their garden and relocated them to the office, and we sourced old whiskey barrels and made them into planters - much more sustainable thank buying new (even if we did get a little squiffy from the smell!).
The staff, including our resident office dog Toby, have definitely been making the most of the warmer weather lately, and we can’t wait to host a team get together in the garden in the summer.
