Following the success of the Bigg Market public realm re-design, Southern Green was thrilled to further collaborate with NE1 and RASKL Studio, to design and install our first parklet outside of Meat Stack.

This bespoke parklet design consists of flexible modular components, which can be arranged to suit any given environment. Whilst the structure is freestanding and temporary, all materials are high quality which will allow the parklet to be easily relocated and repurposed at any point in the future.

The main elements of the parklet are:

• Greening to attract wildlife and to strengthen green infrastructure within the city;
• Raised composite deck with seating;
• Screens and parasols to provide shelter;
• Hostile vehicle mitigation;
• Branding.
